Weird old titles: Paperplay

Posted on June 30, 2009 | 6 comments |

Not technically that weird a title sequence, although you could argue the typeface is a bit odd, but I forgot what actual title sequence I was going to be doing today (I know it was something American for a change, but that's as much as I can recall), so here's Paperplay instead. I used to love them little spiders.

Am beginning to think I grew up in a parallel universe. I don't remember this one either. But thank you for the Thames logo at the beginning. Perfect reminder of childhood that. I liked the spiders too.

It's entirely possible that you were banned from watching the down-market ITV like my wife was.

Or that I am very much older then you (-: But some of the things you mentioned before were around when I was little. We didn't watch as much ITV certainly, but it wasn't completely banned.

I don't remember the name, or the opening credits, but I remember the spiders themselves vividly.

Strange what we retain from childhood...

Aww. That's really cheered me up. I think I remember the spiders but not anything else about it.

@Andrea, @Adam: Same as me really - all I could remember was the spiders, nothing else
