The Stig revealed - sort of

Posted on June 22, 2009 | 1 comment |

At last! Top Gear's Stig takes off his helmet to reveal his true identity. Maybe.

I've posted the vid after the jump to avoid spoilers, from, erm, the title of the vid.

The looks on the viewers faces were probably the best part of this. Some of them needed to pick up their jaws from the floor.

Of course, I'm not the least bit convinced he is The Stig as I can't see how he has time to fit in his duties, the man is exceptionally busy. Also you can't go on referring to The Stig as The Stig once you reveal who he is.

The other reason is pretty simple, he's not actually the same physical build.

Still, it did make for great TV, but I enjoyed the train more. Good stunt.
