Just a few thoughts:
The interview with David X. Cohen gives me hope that they haven't lost their mojo on 'Futurama'. I guess the longer version for the movies just wasn't a good fit. Although the first one worked quite well.
How can 'House' be the most popular show in the world if David Hasselhoff isn't in it?
Bonnie Langford should be starring in a musical version of 'Scream'....
And please, God - no more Daleks! I never understood their popularity; but then being over in America, I came late to 'Doctor Who'. So I guess their scare factor never registered like it would on somebody younger and more impressionable. Fungi, bacteria, plagues - those are scarier - but again, maybe not so much to the kids......

Can you pretend to be a fungus/bacterium/plague in the playground/schoolyard? No. This is why Daleks do well.

Sorry Toby have to utterly disagree on the daleks. I know I know. Their weapons of choice are a sink plunger and a food whisk, but... I can remember aged 5 watching episode of Dr Who in which the daleks invaded London, being absolutely convinced it was true. I was terrified. And the effect has lingered long in my psyche. Dr Who just wouldn't be Dr Who without the daleks.
TTW - am not sure I want to see it, because I love the book so much. Looks a bit glossy from this? OTOH, I do like Eric Bana... Probably won't be able to resist.

Can't even think of ending of TTW without snivelling. Not sure cinema experience will measure up to that, but I'll give it a try, probably.

I still haven't read it.
I'm also bored with Daleks, but the Daleks have been pretty boring recently (with the exception of Davros, who was great). The more like the Dalek in Dalek they are, the better. I still Trust The Moff, until I'm proved wrong.
"Hi-tech" Tardis? Hmmm.

Well, like I said, when 'Doctor Who' hit it big over here, I was already out of college and those pepperpots looked kind of silly. But I think my main gripe is that if they are going to bring back the Daleks, then it's only fair they find some way to bring back the Gallifreyans as well. Never thought that plot point from the reboot was necessary anyway....

Tobe, RTD has pretty much done the storyline to death which is annoying of him, but I would still like to see the daleks again. We like them so much we own several (-: They're much better toys then the cybermen, you can have proper battles and everything. (My husband tends to use kids' birthdays/Christmases as an excuse to get the toys we never had!)
