Another TV blogger put that move to Saturday for 'Kings' into perspective - it might take the pressure off since Saturdays are the viewing graveyard anyway here in the States. So 'Kings' might be able to play out the season.
But at the same time, I don't think it should ever have been an open-ended series.
I'm really worried for 'Chuck'. It's always been good, to my mind, but it just keeps getting better and better, and is one of the more consistantly fun hours on TV right now. This past week, with two great guest stars whom you'd expect to see in a Sweeps period, really kicked it up a notch or two.

You are carrying:
a glass of whisky
a cigarette
> drink
(whisky)
You drink the smooth tasting Jack Daniels whisky and feel its warm glow spread through you.
> smoke
(cigarette)
You enjoy the rich tobacco flavour of America's favourite brand, Lucky Strike.

Two Pints viewers to pick series ending?
I'd like them to actually, literally invent a time machine, go back to 2001 and stop Susan Nickson from writing 8 series - yes, that's 8 long series - of such interminable crap which irrevocably polluted the already ecologically devastated environment known as the BBC3 schedules.

I kind of liked the first two seasons, but it got decidedly awful and repetitive after that.

That's lucky for you, as I believe they have plans to repeat them every other week on BBC3, until the oil runs out.
Still, at least she went out on a limb and wrote the challenging and thought provoking "Grownups". Long may that be commissioned.

I generally don't like repeats, so I don't think I'll bother. Oddly enough.
Grownups looked like it had been sent from Hell to punish us all for something - I know not what - so I didn't bother with it. It might have been better than I suspected though. I doubt it.
