"As we head towards the ending it gets thematically bigger and bigger."

    Oh, RTD, no. Please, no.

I'm thankful and all that he's brought the show back to new life and all, but please, can't somebody get RTD to shut up?

By this point I'd like to stick a wire in his head!

Since I'm here at work, I have no access to audio on this computer. So I couldn't listen to the YouTube clip of the finale to the Comic Relief telethon. But just seeing RTD flail away onstage made me cringe at the thought of what he might be saying. Ugh.

Aaaagh! Shut up Russell. Shut up. We all know you did a great job reviving Dr Who and bringing it back etc etc, but ENOUGH is ENOUGH... Was he always that smug???

T""As we head towards the ending it gets thematically bigger and bigger."Oh, RTD, no. Please, no."

Translation: it will make less and less sense, and be more and more self-indulgent.

Please write good stuff, Stephen Moffat. Pleasepleaseplease.

"The part of this imbroglio that truly dismays me, is that my once-tough, beloved Guild – my UNION – that got massively screwed when it let the Alliance scare the slacker-gen dolts into thinking not losing a job meant ‘just bend over and grin,’ – if one’s own damn Guild won’t help you, – when you’ve entreated them for months – then hell, you’ve got no choice but to raise the skull and crossbones, hone the edge of your demon attorney, and just start cutting off noggins and nuts."

He's getting milder in his old age.

But you've still got to love him. Welcome back, BTW!

No one called me out on this, but I can't rest easy without fessing up.....

I just watched the clip of the end of the Comic Relief telethon again, with sound this time. And it wasn't RTD, but Alan Carr. Clones, I tells ya!

I haven't watched to the end yet. It was entirely possible RTD was on it, but Alan Carr is ubiquitous unfortunately.
