Dick Head (from Deb again): Marple

Richard Armitage in Marple Ordeal by Innocence

Since Deb provided us with something like a googolplex of shots from the Marple episode Ordeal by Innocence – and no one else has sent in anything new* – today's Dick Head is of Richard Armitage accepting a drink in said episode.

Feel free to haiku or simply write a caption.

Got a picture of Richard Armitage's head, preferably wearing a hat? Then leave a link to it below and if it's judged suitable, it will appear in the “Dick Heads” gallery.

*I hope I'm not detecting a waning interest in Dick Heads, am I? If so, what can we do to liven it up, do you think? A scoreboard? Prizes? Sake for the best haiku?

    Excuse me, my dear
But this glass of finest Scotch
    Looks a bit like wee.

I don't know how you drum up more interest in this. I am enjoying it already.

It's probably just me, but there's something in his expression here (or lack of one) that suggests the actor Charles Gray. He even looks ready here to narrate 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' as the Criminologist!

When I first saw the picture, I could have sworn that was Tobey Maguire, and not Richard Armitage. How long ago was that?

@Toby: No, I see it, too.

I wonder where the rest of Armitage's army has got too. Tactical withdrawal?

We were mean about him. They did not like it. The thing is, I love RA, it's just that for some reason all the photos we've used have made him look ridiculous. Or like Tobey Maguire, or the guy with no neck in Rocky Horror, etc.

Well, if that's the case, they're a bunch of big sillies. It's not like they didn't have every opportunity to name the feature, provide the photos, caption the photos or even decide what to do with the photos. Those who take part get to decide things, not those who sit on the sidelines.

Oh well, if there aren't more pictures forthcoming, we can always wind it down. Over to you Armitage's Army. I'm sure you're all a lot more dynamic than that and have just been waiting for your moment.

    Armitage's Army's Gone Away
    and I am left holding
    a glass full of wee.

I do hope they come back given that I am partly responsible for this feature. Will try and find a suitable pic, Rob!
