"John Cusack and Rob Corddry join Hot Tub Time Machine"

    Liking that combination!

Hiding, working, being distracted... but hello! Got a week at home before I start a placement at Taylor Herring so I may drop off the radar again - but hopefully not!

"I start a placement at Taylor Herring"

You're thinking of crossing over to the dark side or you just want to see how the other half lives?

Bit of both?! I definitely write my best stuff when I'm enthusing about things and they've always been great with us at TVScoop. It's specifically a 'using Twitter and blogs and stuff to promote things' placement, so up my street :)

Well, just you be careful, lass. It's very easy (and very tempting, what with the actual salaries and decent pay and stuff) to cross over to PR but very hard to cross back again. In general, you're perceived as having been 'tainted' and your editorial independence forever compromised. Not always, but quite a lot.

Course, there is the salary and stuff.

I know, I've had that advice before. I've also had contrary advice... Oh now I'm all confused again. Crap. (But thanks ;) )

Use the experience and the contacts you make, but don't mention it on the CV when you're going for journalism jobs! It's not like you're inexperienced in the world of blogging, is it? ;-)
