Today's Sitting Tennants (from Rosby and Rullsenberg)

Young Tennant

Simon Pegg and David Tennant

Catherine Tate and David Tennant

It seems the new layout for Sitting Tennant was a good move, since suddenly we have a veritable onslaught of Tennants in a sitting position. Today, we have three: one from young Rosby (who clearly likes her Tennnants young and windswept) and thought that that was going to be enough to hold on to her lead; but two from Ms Rullsenberg who is therefore declared the new leader. Told you you'd be caught napping, Rossers.

The Sitting Tennant picture competition table now stands as follows:

  • Rullsenberg: 8.5
  • Rosby: 8
  • Persephone: 6.5
  • Toby: 5
  • Poly, Scott: 3.5
  • Jane: 2.5
  • Anna, Electric Dragon: 1.5
  • Marie: 1

The Witty And Amusing Captions league table now sees Marie within striking distance of Toby thanks to some extreme wittiness (and topicality) on her part from her sick bed, while the middle of the board continues to see neck and neck excitement – like an Algonquin Roundtable version of Super Mario Kart:

  • Toby: 21
  • Marie: 19.5
  • Jane Henry: 13.5
  • Persephone: 12
  • Rullsenberg: 10.5
  • Rev, Electric Dragon: 5
  • Stu_N: 2
  • Poly, Andrea: 1

As always, captions and new submissions for the gallery, please. Remember, you can submit as many (witty) captions as you like for each and every picture, with topical captions getting extra marks – as do pictures of David Tennant in current productions.

Got a picture of David Tennant sitting, lying down or in some indeterminate state in between? Then leave a link to it below and if it's judged suitable, it will appear in the “Sitting Tennant” gallery. You can also enter the witting and amusing captions league table by commenting on existing photos in the gallery.

1] You don't have any tissue, do you?

    2] Pegg: We've met before, haven't we?
    Doctor: In another life, perhaps.

    3) The Doctor and Donna return to 1930 Manhattan to catch Tallulah's burlesque show, and are instead caught in the balcony playing a variation of "Popcorn Surprise".

    1) I know Marie said to wait, but I'm getting back ache sitting here on this wall. Still, I'm young: sure that'll never affect me...

    2) Didn't you have white hair last time I saw you? Mind, I had a completely different body back then...

    3) Do you think we could be facing the wrong way Catherine?

BTW: woo- and verily HOO! Not like I'm competative or anything (*cough* Marie may wish to join in on that remark...)

Sit up straight. You'll wreck your back.
