Is this the one that's between Paterson Joseph, James Nesbitt, Tom Ellis and Billie Piper?

We could end up with a black guy or a woman. Either would be quite ground-breaking.

That's pretty implausible though. It's going to wind up being some old white guy, isn't it?

Personally, I think Bill Nighy's a bit too young for the role. Do you think Peter Sallis would accept the role?

Sorry to deviate from the election front, but...Lenora Crichlow?! What about Andrea Riseborough? And my favourite werewolf, Guy Flanagan?

Boo. BOO. I certainly won't be watching it, now.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed to hear it had been recast, although I hear it was down to scheduling issues rather than dislike of the cast. I actually thought Russell Tovey was the least impressive of the three and that Guy Flanagan was absolutely fantastic, even if he was doing an obvious Paul McGann impression. I wonder what he's up to instead? Nothing on IMDB or Wikipedia about what he's doing.

Still, stiff upper lips and all. Let's see how it turns out for series proper.

PS Wasn't Guy Flanagan the vampire and Rusty Tovey the werewolf?

Pshaw, Rosby, you spoil all our fun.

For an alternative POV, I loved Russell Tovey (especially, but not limited to, his nude scenes) but wasn't enamoured by his costars -- and I like Lenora Critchlow. Don't recall having seen the other fella in anything of note, but am heartened that they may be going down a slightly differrent route with the vampire storyline.

In my post election excitement yesterday I missed that about Being Human. What a shame. I loved Guy Flanagan soooo sexy. I hope Adrian Lester is still the bad vampire though? He was great. Can't remember who the original girl was but I did think she was good. And I enjoyed Russell Tovey's turn as a werewolf. In fact, i really loved Being Human full stop so am delighted they're making a series. Shame they chose Foo Fighters over Mrs InBetweeny though. THAT was brilliant.
