The Morrissey interview makes sense of the fact that certain people have been whispering "The One Doctor" in connection with the Christmas special.

It wouldn't be the first time a Big Finish plot got 'homaged'...

What type of network is your FX over there? (I'm assuming that, like ours, it's a Murdoch operation?)
I'm just wondering if 'True Blood' would be edited/censored for broadcast on it, or will they let it run as intended....

FX UK is pretty different from the US FX. Apart from having about three viewers, it doesn't have any original programming and it buys in from just about anywhere, although principally from HBO and Showtime from cutting edge stuff. So it's the home of Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Wire, John from Cincinnatti, Rescue Me (if had bothered to by the fourth season, it would, anyway), etc, and shows them pretty much unedited. But it's also the home of re-runs of Highlander, Buffy, NCIS, etc.
