Probably not, although (spoiler) there are always parallel universe Doctors to consider, particularly given the Cybermen are set to appear in the special, too.

I totally adore David Morrissey and would ADORE it if he signed on to be the next Doctor properly so I hope the story is true.
Hmm. Reckon I just about took enough of that out...
