That's fantastic news about Adrian Lester returning to the role of Mickey on 'Hustle'. The show lost something when he was gone, and as much as I like Marc Warren, I never could buy into the others accepting him as the new leader.

It's a shame we're going to lose Warren and Jaime, but Mickey as the leader was more important for bringing the show back up to speed.

Lester's also on my short list for a new incarnation of the Master; he might also be interesting as the Doctor (but that's a much longer list)!

Adrian Lester's great, although not always (I'm thinking of Primary Colors here, but that was a pretty poor movie anyway). I'm hoping he's going to return for the series of Being Human, given that he was so good in the pilot as the head vampire.

[Rob, I'm obviously insane since I disagree with you, but…] I've seen Primary Colours several times. The first time I saw it was the eve of the 2000 US election. When it became evident that no one would know who was president until the next day, the Canadian channel I was watching put on Primary Colours, which, given what was going on, was a rather surreal choice. Fabulous cast, particularly Emma Thompson and Kathy Bates. I thought it was a hoot. The book is rather interesting too.

I read the book first. It was interesting in exposing some of Clinton's excesses, more interesting in terms of trying to work out who the author was. But the film was a pale shadow of the book, particularly since it was revealed that Joe Klein was the author by then, and we could barely make our way through it - I think we watched half of it then had to take it back to the shop before the deadline.
