By my reckoning, del Toro will soon be directing over 50% of all new movies.

    Absolutely stage show? Yes please!

I saw the team's band (The Hairstyles) a few times back in the early 90s, and they were brilliant. Morwenna Banks and Peter Baikie tried to teach me to dance the Gay Gordons in the Gilded Balloon Theatre. Unsuccessfully.

He's like a kid in a sweet shop, isn't he? Can I direct The Champions? Can I direct the Hobbit? Can I? Can I?

I'm just intrigued by the way most of these del Toro stories get reported as if they're definites. Successful directors tend to have more irons in the fire than will ever come to fruition, but the related headlines/straplines often come with question marks or caveats.

Maybe it's just the way he tells'em.
