    Elijah Woods' comments strike me to be in the same league as those of Shaun Williamson's about a return of "Barry from EastEnders" in an 'Extras' spinoff. (And of similar remarks by Phil Morris about his Jackie Chiles character after the cancellation of 'Seinfeld'.)

    It reads as if Wood is just making conjecture about what Jackson may do with the second film, and at the same time hoping to generate buzz to get himself involved at the same time. Almost like campaigning via the rumor mill.

    I figured both movies would be of 'The Hobbit' with a split at some appropriate sequence - like the escape from the Elves.
