For Rory Cochrane's return to CSI:Miami, maybe they can go the clone route! (A little something they cooked up in that lab)
Ausiello reports that it's for several episodes, but it still could work out to be dreams/flashbacks. Each episode and version of his old character from the perspective of a different member of the team.
Or he's a Cylon.....
