    Wiggle room? Hmm.

'I'm not axed, put it that way. I haven't been sacked, so...'
and the rest would have to be lip read. Ok, that could be read more than one way, I grant you. Eager for her to go or have you heard something else?

Not really, although there is a rumour (look away for potential spoiler) that it was planned for her to be killed off/leave in the final episode of the season from the outset; there's also the quote in the second story: 'But he adds, cryptically: "As for the show, we make a point of never commenting on any future storylines."' So she could have resigned, decided to leave by "mutual agreement", etc. Or she could be lying.

If only it were as easy to take DW comments at face value as it used to be.

They won't want a change of Doctor and a change of companion to happen too close together because that would be very disruptive. So if DT were planning to leave at the end of his third year then they'd either have to replace FA soon or keep her for quite a while. But if DT plans to stay put then they have more freedom with the timing.

Also, the first Christmas special was the first DT story and the second Christmas special was the first post-Rose story. Unless they plan a cast change then they'll have to be a bit more inventive without a whacky new Doctor or whacky new companion to play with.

She surely would have been a lot clearer if she wanted to make it known that she'll be in the next series...

    Maybe she's going to Torchwood.

Marie, I know you don't like Martha, but that's just spiteful.

Ouch! So you get to stay in the Whoniverse but its at Torchwood: that, as you rightly point out Rob, is harsh!

Condemned to a life of Chris Chibnall scripts but without Graeme Harper...?

I'm just experimenting to see whether comments allow white text. If so, then it's one way to handle spoilerish comments without (spoiler! highlight text to read) giving the game away; hmm, it's not easy to read, but not impossible (the blue background works against it).

In fact, it doesn't work at all (though it seemed to in the preview).

Ah, nice try. But although the preview system allows you to use the <font> tag, the comment purifying system removes all but a few tags in order to prevent nastiness caused by bad tagging, the mean (eg using <script> tags to inject pop-ups and redirects into comments), etc. Anyway, <font> is HTML 3.2, deprecated in favour of stylesheets in HTML 4.x and verboten in XHTML 1.0 upwards so we're not having any of its nastiness on this blog.

However, I've felt your pain and decided to "take your idea and run with it". You should be able to wrap your text with <span class="spoiler"> and </span> and have it fade away into the #e7e7ec, non-white background. You might have to refresh your browser to load the site's modified stylesheet though.

Let's just see if it works: Warning: spoiler. Highlight the following text to reveal it by George I think he's done it. Ta dah!

Probably too hard for most people, but I've left instructions just above the comments window just in case.

Let's see: now you see me, now you don't. Hmm, preview suggests it works without "" around spoiler.

(Not that I'm actually bothered about spoilers myself, but it does mean I can be more daring about certain topics.)

You're supposed to put quotes round attributes in XHTML, but all the browsers I know of will let you get away with it (just as they'll let you get away with putting span in capitals, even though that's evil, too). All the same, there's probably something like IE6.00122112111 that hiccups on unquoted attributes.

    "Stated by someone"
" Okay, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s not like I wasn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t interested in the Tony Awards, but for me the most interesting part was the ads for Viva Laughlin! because it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s one of my most anticipated shows. "

The most interesting aspect of Viva Laughlin! is the tendency to break out into pop songs (which, as I noted earlier, is more Moulin Rouge than the Cop Rock everyone seems compelled to compare it to) but that gets barely mentioned in these ads. Instead, CBS is emphasizing the plot of Viva Laughlin!

I am really tired of hearing Viva Laughlin! compared to Cop Rock. Cop Rock had original music. Viva Laughlin! will be about lip syncing to pop music in casinos. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s already ahead of Cop Rock by not having to write new music.

Yay! Viva Laughlin! clips finally hit YouTube: Looks Great !!!!!!!!!!

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=pbg1VHjCOQ4

Cop Rock wouldn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t have dared to camp up ?¢‚Ǩ?ìSympathy for the Devil?¢‚Ǩ¬ù even though that is a popular song to camp up.

I didn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t notice it before, but that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Jane?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s preacher boyfriend from Coupling in Viva Laughlin.
Last time this year, the two shows I was anticipating most were Heroes and Ugly Betty. This year, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Pushing Daisies and Viva Laughlin!. I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m hoping to have good luck on that, this year.

TV Week?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a collection of clips from the upcoming falls series. I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve seen most of them, but it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s the first time I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve seen a clip of Viva Laughlin!.

The clip proves that everyone bringing up Cop Rock is barking up the wrong tree. This series doesn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t resemble Cop Rock in the slightest, watching Hugh Jackman sing a lounged-up version of ?¢‚Ǩ?ìSympathy for the Devil?¢‚Ǩ¬ù makes it clear that this show will more like a TV version of Moulin Rouge. This one just landed behind Pushing Dasies as my second most anticipated upcoming debut.

(Now if only there were a Viva Laughlin! preview in the bunch.)

"This Show adds a new depth in Entertainment, I believe this show will have Lots of to offer us hungry viewers for many years!!" "Stay Tuned"
