Although I really enjoy (or downright love) all of Chuck Palahniuk's novels, my favorite is Survivor but that project went bye-bye after the events of the World Trade Center attacks.

Martin Freeman and Peter Greenaway? I'll definitely have to see that!

Not a fan of the Orange ads; and just as many Brits call them chips instead of fries, don't many Americans call mobile phones "cellphones"? (Which is actually a more logical name, since phones technically aren't mobile - apart from the one in the Direct Line commercials.)

Since I'm boring, I'll quote Wikipedia: "Technically, the term mobile phone includes such devices as satellite phones and pre-cellular mobile phones such as those operating via MTS which do not have a cellular network, whereas the related term cell(ular) phone does not."

I won't start on hybrid WiFi/mobiles, Wimax, micro-cell and other phones, cos that would be even duller.

The Orange ads have been off the boil a bit of late, though. They've never been as good as "Make me bleed!"

Iko: yes, yes, yes. I'm so glad that someone else loves CP's "Survivor". I loved reading that one of his best.

Plus Mena Suvari's place as the ultimate American cheerleader has been upended by a fragile thing from Texas. And as well as George W. Bush, there's also Claire Bennet to consider.
