So would that be a sorta remake of Topkapi, the old Peter Ustinov caper movie?

I don't know. It could be. It was originally going to be in Greece but then some Istanbul promoters showed them Topkapi and they changed their minds. That suggests to me, it's not - or at least wasn't. Whether it is now, I don't know.

Oo, I really enjoyed The Thomas Crowne Affair so a sequel is definitely of interest to me!

(The commentary on the DVD discusses how they came up with the procedure that Crowne takes the second painting, but opted not to film it, deeming it unnecessary for the story. I always wanted to know how it was done!)

I just saw the treat at the end of The Lazarus Experiment.

    ...

...let's just say the fangirl in me is trying to beat its way out and scream the place down.

Looking forward to your take on it!
