George Takei joins the cast of Heroes

Christopher Eccleston's doing it already*, and now another sci-fi icon is joining the cast of Heroes. George Takei - Sulu on Star Trek - is to appear as Hiro's dad some time in the very near future.

Tonight's is the last episode before the Christmas break, I think. How will we be able to bear the wait?

* His agent never got back to me, but it's been confirmed by Entertainment Weekly as well.
